DESCRIPTION:The Carolinas Concrete Paving Association (CCPA) and Carolinas Ready Mixed Concrete Association (CRMCA) in partnership with the NCDOT (Divisions 13 and 14) are pleased to offer a 4-part series of 1-hour webinars during the month of June.  The sessions require individual registration and will be presented by industry and agency experts in their respective fields. \n\n\n\nThis session "Diamond Grinding Slurry Best Management Practices" will cover existing diamond grinding slurry (DGS) disposal options within North Carolina. The webinar will also highlight best management practices (BMP) to illustrate how states across the country are cost-effectively disposing their concrete grinding residuals. A panel of industry and agency experts will be available to address these topics and answer questions.\n\n\n\nSpeaker Info:\n\n\n\nJohn Roberts is the Executive Director of the International Grooving and Grinding Association (IGGA).  Prior to joining the IGGA\, John was employed by Ebasco Services Inc.\, where he worked on projects ranging from radioactive cleanups to reconstruction of the Manhattan Bridge.  John also was the owner of a concrete contracting company located in New York where he specialized in the construction of bridges\, pavements and structures.  John was an honor student graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute\, Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
