SUMMARY:Grandstrand Round Robin
DESCRIPTION:Make plans to join us for our 2024 Round Robin Testing Events which bring together area laboratories and concrete producers for the opportunity to audit their testing procedures by anonymously comparing results with their peers.  As an industry\, it is important that we maintain the highest standards of testing and these events help bring awareness\, education\, and increased visibility to proper procedure while highlighting the variability of concrete cylinder tests.\n\n \n\nFor 2024 we will host 6 Round Robins throughout the Carolinas.  All companies are invited to participate at any location that is in their market or service area.  Companies are encouraged to send individuals or 1-2 ppl who can work as partners.\n\n\n\nSchedule & Day of Needs\n\nAll individuals testing will need to bring their own testing materials and arrive on site by 10:30am.  Concrete will be batched at 10:45am and the event will end by 12 noon and will include lunch.\n\n \n\nEach participant must:\n\n\n	Sample the concrete from the same batch and conduct the following tests: air content\, slump\, unit weight and temperature\, all ASTM / ACI procedures and rules apply. \n	Provide their own testing equipment and cylinder molds\n	Make six 4? x 8? cylinders\n	Remit their test results on the data reporting for within 24 hours of 28-day breaks\n\n\nSign Up\n\nAs a reminder\, there is no charge to participate\, and the events are open to all laboratories and producers in the Carolinas.  These events are great opportunities to connect with other industry professionals while supporting the industry!
