Advanced Tech Talk: Emerging SCMs & Admixtures - Performance, Practical Use & What’s Next for Ready Mixed Concrete

Emerging supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and next-generation admixtures are reshaping mix design, performance expectations, and production strategies across the ready mixed concrete industry. This Advanced Tech Talk explores new material options, compatibility considerations, and practical implementation lessons from plant and field perspectives. Participants will gain insight into blended cements, natural pozzolans, calcined clays, performance-enhancing admixtures, and evolving QC practices needed to maintain consistency and durability.
