Net-Zero Ready School Design - September 22, 2021

A case study for strong, resilient educational structures that are also either Net -Zero
or Net-Zero Capable. This will reference both potential and existing projects that are
storm/disaster resistant and have the capability of using less energy than they produce. Some of
the specific topics to be discussed are as follows: ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms), Solar Energy,
Geothermal Energy/Heat Pumps, L.E.D. lighting packages, and Energy Management Strategies.
